SOME HIGHLIGHTS FROM MY TRIP HOME... well, I have been traveling for over 2 months now... my visit to Cali & Alaska were great - some highlights would have to be...... fireworks at Lake Tahoe with my fam... having fun with my cousins... eating good mexican food. And buying my Gram a plant for her 79th birthday - seeing the simple joy it brought her to have something to nurture... camping in Alaska with my sis and her kids (and enjoying the pure beauty and delight of a perfectly crafted SMORE)... going fly fishing with my dad & battling salmon (got a killer crushed thumb in the process, but it was worth it)... seeing 4 moose, 1 porcupine, a few sea otters, countless bald eagles, and a grizzly bear cub... gotta love Alaska!
Right now I am in North Carolina!! And, it looks like I'm going to be here for awhile - I think atleast through Christmas (if my grandmother's health stays good), but I will have to save the details of all that for when I have more time.
